Reservation management for restaurant staff – at the counter, in the dining room or on the move. With the Bukio app you manage your reservations wherever you are.

What is the Bukio app?

The Bukio mobile app is a companion to the Bukio restaurant reservation system for restaurant staff. It lets you view and manage incoming reservations in real time from your phone, without having to sit at the desktop admin interface. The app only displays data for the restaurant you are logged into.

Who is it for?

For staff of restaurants that have a Bukio account. To use the app, the restaurant administrator enables mobile access and sets a PIN code in the admin interface.

Today's bookings at a glance

A list of today's (or any selected day's) reservations, filtered by status and date.

Approve and reject

Approve or reject pending reservations with a single tap, with an optional reason.

Internal notes

Staff can add internal notes to reservations that the guest does not see.

Guest history

A given guest's previous reservations are quickly accessible for better service.

One-tap call

The phone number attached to a reservation can be called directly from the app.

Event flags

If a reservation has an event offer attached, it also appears in the list, flagged if the guest requested it.

Logging in

You log into the app with the restaurant's code (slug or identifier) and the matching PIN code. There is no separate registration in the app: access and the PIN are managed by the restaurant administrator in the Bukio admin interface. Login takes place over an encrypted connection.

Data processing and security

The app only accesses the reservation data of the logged-in restaurant, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. It does not store reservation data permanently on the device; only the secure session token is stored, which is deleted on logout. The app does not collect data that is not necessary for operation (no location, contact access, advertising identifier, or third-party analytics).

Deleting data and access

The mobile app does not create a separate user account: access is provided by a PIN tied to the restaurant's Bukio account. Mobile access can be revoked at any time, and you can request the deletion of the related data as follows:

  • Revoking mobile access: the restaurant administrator can disable mobile login in the Bukio admin interface, or change or delete the PIN.
  • Deleting reservation data and the account: deletion of the restaurant account and the related reservation data can be initiated from the admin interface or via the contact page. When the account is closed, reservation data is deleted/anonymized (see section 5.11 of the Privacy Policy).
  • Data stored on the device: logging out deletes the session token stored on the device; removing the app removes all local data.
