We build Bukio so no restaurant has to chase bookings over the phone
Bukio is a reservation system built in Hungary. We're not aiming to be the world's biggest software company – we aim for the restaurants working with us to have more guests and less admin.
What we do differently
You talk to the person who writes the system
No support maze, no ticket system: if you have a question, you write to the people building Bukio – and you get an answer, not a queue number. A small team's drawback is size; its advantage is speed.
Your feedback becomes a feature
Event templates, time-slot registration, per-area opening hours – all of these came from partner requests. If something's missing, tell us: chances are you'll see it in an upcoming update.
A Hungarian product, in four languages
Bukio is built at home, for Hungarian restaurants – but the guest side speaks Hungarian, English, German and Spanish, because some of your guests are from abroad. Emails go out in the guest's language too.
What we claim can be verified
We have an official plugin on WordPress.org, an app on Google Play, and our partners' booking pages sit at the top of Google's results for their own names. We don't promise numbers we can't show.

Why we do it
Bukio was born from a simple observation: a large share of Hungarian restaurants still manage bookings by phone and on paper – not because they want to, but because the big international systems are expensive, complicated, and not made for local conditions. We build the opposite: a system you can set up in minutes, with understandable pricing and local support. We don't try to please everyone: we work for restaurants that care about guests booking in one click – and about having someone to turn to when there's a question.
